Abstract Macro Landscape in Black & White of swirling and looping seedheads of a perennial prairie grass swaying in a light Autumn breeze.
Not only am I a freak for the textures of prairie grass plumes in general, but when I viewed this image without color, I was delightfully reminded of The Dot and the Line: A Romance in Lower Mathematics, a 1965 animated short film directed by Chuck Jones and co-directed by Maurice Noble. This connotation made me want to find a mathematic term to describe the conjoined loops in the image.
